This is it for me though we wouldn’t get that benefit.

Liverpool do. Where did 11 minutes of additional time come from?

Schar concussion was about 2/3 mins
Tonali injury was another 2/3 mins
Joelinton injury was another 2 mins
Goal was another 1/2 mins
11 subs over 5 different stoppages is another 5 mins.

thats 12 mins if you take the minimum time

Seems about far.

You wouldn’t be saying that if it was you down to 10 men playing an extra 11 minutes against 12 men.

Well I don't think anything dodgy went on I think we just lost a game against the run of play.

The main reason is we need too many chances to score and are easily scored past.. Sides don't need many opportunities.

Sorry but I point to 2 more main decisions that went in Liverpools favour

1. two hand push on Barnes when running through - Konate would be off for a 2nd yellow
2. Rugby tackle at the corner on Joelinton. No attempt for the ball, holding for and then pulling down for a good 5 seconds and the ref was watching it. Still VAR looks at the colour of the shirt and deems nothing to see here.

So what you're saying is we were robbed? Should have another 5 more minutes for us to get that equaliser <whistle>

Time to move on lads and lasses.

Fantastic effort from the lads and we all feel we deserved 'something' from that performance, especially after the comeback. But, we lost. It's football.

Scrutinising the amount of added time and whether various incidents could/should have been yellow or red cards, etc. is just clutching at straws now. And it won't change anything.

Plenty to be proud about and the lads will be lifted by their efforts, but we didn't take the points. Simple.

Now it's time for the club to focus fixing where we have gaps and making the best use of the remaining transfer window. Hopefully at least one decent striker inbound.

As Munson's mate, the wise Steve Bruce, would say: "We'll dust weselves doon and gan again."

Spot on, gutted but proud of the effort. Thought Ramsey looked really good from his little cameo, lots of energy and work rate, so while I hope Big Joe and Tonali aren't out to long, he looks like decent cover. Get Hall, Botman, Willock back in the squad as well and we have a decent squad to take on multiple fronts this season.

Get a striker or two in and we will be in a good spot.

I don't think it was.. He followed through with his trailing leg and caught him, but Gordons was particularly dangerous... He ran the full length of the pitch and lunged in from behind. While he tried to pull out he's still done it... Every time you saw the foul it got worse and worse.
Followed through with his trailing leg?
We can't blame anyone it was just one of those days.... We'll win games playing worse.

Beating Leeds will fix things, but it feels like a huge game already... You can't make up 8 points easily.

So proud as we sit in 15th place. We sound like parents of the kid that came in 2nd last in the running race. At least you beat one legged Jimmy, so proud of you son!

A freeze photo always looks worse. I think a yellow was about right..

Think Bisc was spot on with his "orange card" assessment - could have been red, could have been a yellow but the ref set his stall out early that he was going to let stuff go. Gordons on the other hand was a clear straight red card - but the ref again tried to let it go but VAR took it out of his hands.

Said it last night, if you'd offered me a point on the board, before a ball was kicked this year, I'd have taken it.

Villa away and Liverpool to start the season is a horrible pair of opening games. Yes we could have had another 3 points if we'd beaten the 10 men of Villa and held on for another min vs Pool but we look good, just need a striker to bury some of the chances we are creating.

I agree a freeze frame sometimes can look worse but when both feet are off the ground (out of control) and wrapped around the other players legs it’s pretty clear and certainly not a trailing leg as you said.

A yellow was about right.

I understand Howe deserves so much credit, but it still feels like there's gaps in what he sees. Why is Pope still first choice when he's been a weak spot for so long? Why did we decide Ramsdale was the right answer? Why is Trippier playing when a clearly fit and infinitely better Hall is on the bench? Why isn't one of two strikers (Osula by trade, and Joelinton at a push) on the pitch and why is he persevering with Barnes who's clearly crap?

The striker situation does need resolving but so does player selection. Just play the best available XI in their positions - everything else, the attitude, the energy, the press, is working. Strikers or not, if he'd just done this we'd have 6 points on the board.

Got to say I liked Slot last season but this quote is a disgrace:
"I'm not too sure if I saw a football match," Slot told Sky Sports after the game. "It was set-piece after set-piece, long throws. It didn't have a lot to do with tactics. But I liked a lot how we stood strong."

We battered you for 30 mins, then you got a luck goal and red card and another goal just after half time and then we battered you again with 10 men for another 45 mins and you scored a lucky break in the 101st min - be grateful your subs bailed you out you bald headed mong. He was lucky he had Klopp's team and tactics in play last season - clearly tweaked stuff over the summer and can't see them winning the league again this year if the first few performances are anything to go by.
