Interesting, so you saw this before 2 years ago, and after that we won our first domestic trophy in 70 years and qualified for the CL, but apparently this time the same situation means years of pain.

We still got beat though .. I mean we didn't get thumped but ultimately we lost, so it's really a bit much claiming consolations

This is actually my point and I raise fit after villa... I said they'll lose lots of games they dominate because they need too many chances to score.

I'm happy with my assessment anyway, but desperately want to be wrong... Perhaps the next few games will?

2 years ago we had a similar conversation. It went on and on, until you took a bet., you lost that bet.

So where are the goals going to come from then anyway guys? And when is this issue with popes kicking going to end.

No one is claiming consolation but if you can’t take any pride in a good performance despite defeat it’s pretty sad

Think popes played his last game as number 1 . Also reckon that’s the excuse needs for Eddie to go Botman and Thiaw. Anyone saying scousers deserved that can stfu as I’m moving on <laugh>

Ramsdale Thiaw, Ramsay, Osula, Hall will all start against Leeds I reckon.
