Definitely dining out in it.. It's irrelevant to today's defensive issues or ability to take opportunities.

It'll happen after every defeat....people point away from things a bit.

Dining out on the league cup win, after which we finished the season strongly enough to get Champions League.

But apparently the first defeat of the season and an excellent performance spells "years of pain".

We conceded 3 today and they only needed about 3 chances to get at the defence.

We are going to dine out on the cup final in every defeat aren't we.
Yes, we will dine out on it for even longer than you've been dining out on the "Joelinton to DM" thread or your supposed winning the prediction double (if that's ever even been proven).

So put that in your pipe and smoke it MoFo. You ain't heard the last of it.
<cheers>

The keeper and Cb’s are relevant to taking opportunities? Clean sheet last week, definitely means they all need dropping

No it’s not, but very often someone loses… it’s the rejection of that reality that amazes me

I don't think that's fair... There's simply genuine arguments from both sides, which I acknowledge, but unfortunately there's no acknowledgement from the people who want to believe everything is great.

Last week we played vs 10 men...

We haven't won a game pre season and now without a win in 2. There's nothing wrong with pounting at some very obvious issues.

Whether people think it'll be fine or not the win hasn't happened yet and until it does it's immaterial.

They are when you're pointing at games from last season

Last season's pre season clearly set the tone for the league cup win and CL qualification - it was all despair when we lost to Yokohama F Marinos, but I knew it was destined to be a legendary season when we beat Stade Brestois 29 a few days later.
