Think he went for broke tbh. The crowd were with it, you had all the momentum to go win that game at 2-2 and Howe probably thought best line of defence was attack and worked tbf until 1 time Liverpool managed to play 5/6 passes forward and just opened up the space.

Think you’re spot on mate, but there lies the problem, We would have snatched your hand off for a point before the game and at 90 mins when they held up 11 mins we’d have been delighted with the point even if it had been 2 banks of 5 for the last 10 mins.

As the old saying goes - if you can’t win, don’t lose.

We lost its just a way of glossing over things, which is fine but always done after defeats

We're 2 games without a win and played vs 10 men ourselves in the 1st game.
Had we lost two games without scoring, without showing passion, without energy; then I’d worry, fact is we’ve got a point from the first 2 games of 38 and there’s absolutely no conclusion can be got from that other than “we’ve got a point from our opening two games”

Like I say there's nothing wrong with looking at the positives in defeat, but you can also look at the negatives.

We can say we lacked discipline, failed to capitalise on villas red card etc etc.

It's early, there's a good case for both sides, but if we lose at Leeds I think it'll be hard to keep pointing at postitives in defeats.. We need wins not huff and puff awards.

Losing 2 of our cms is a bad situation... We haven't even had the draw for the champions league and we're already down to the bare bones.

Lost our best asset which is midfield.

Hugely significant.

The worst part is the changes get made when we've basically lost the game and they aren't based on what's happening in the game.

The subs I think are always pre planned... Unless we get injuries anyway..

Trippier Schar and Burn vs this Liverpool fwd line is a recipe for distaster if they get in between the lines.
Can’t quite remember our back 5 in the cup final or getting a clean sheet just last week at Villa. Anyone remind me

Sometimes I wonder whether some of you miserable ****s have ever paid money to watch NUFC

There’s a positive nuance to people that have done so.

There’s a hope and an acceptance of fate and sporting chance.

It’s the type of fans that Paddy Power so effectively ridicule that I sometimes hear on here.

NUFC is beautiful

There’s 38 games in a season, ya ****s

And Barnes? I've never seen a more depressed looking player.. Gordons out 3 games so our fwd lime is looking crapper and crapper by the day

We conceded 3 today and they only needed about 3 chances to get at the defence.

We are going to dine out on the cup final in every defeat aren't we.
