I won't.

A tribute has already been paid, firstly, at Wembley and, secondly, last weekend at Liverpool.

He had no connection with us and wasn't a football legend and great.

Wasn't planning to anyway but now definitely won't.
Id never sing YNWA for some Liverpool player dying. It was tragic and sad, but what the **** are we talking about here. He's a Liverpool player and his death had zero to do with the actual game. He was driving a supercar too fast.

This is giving me that bend the knee nonsense vibe, some bloke is killed on another continent and you have gibbons like Theo Walcott bending a knee in England. White referees bending the knee under instructions from the Prem <laugh> games gone.
I'll put you both down as "maybe".

Will Toon fans still be joining in the YNWA song for Jota?

I know there's a very strong feeling of anger with the scumbags for the whole Isak saga, but then there's also showing respect for a great player whose life was taken too soon.

Personally hope not and hope we drown it out with Isaks a greedy bastard and always the victims.

Should we fail to secure the signature of a recognised striker i'd be tempted to put Big Joe upfront for a number of reasons I shall list below:-

1. Anthony Gordon is not a striker and is best played out on the left
2. Jacob Ramsey can come in across the midfield 3 along with Bruno and Tonali with Gordon, Big Joe and Elanga in front of them.
3. It gets Big Joe out of that midfield melting pot where he's sure to pick up a 2nd yellow in two games, everybody is gonna be fired up for this one and the last thing we need is going down to 10 men.
4. I'd quite like to see Big Joe vs VVD, that's ****ing box office baby !!!

Joking aside, there are worse ideas (persisting with Gordon up top being one of them). We signed him as a striker and it didn't work out but he's played there before and he can actually score goals, he just needs like 10 chances in order to score one of them but with Gordon/Elanga either side of him and our midfield we can definitely take the game to them. It's gonna be some game like, wonder where Isak's gonna be watching it from.

Heard he booked a table in The Beehive.

100% - think he has played the most top flight games as a striker in the squad and decent in the air. He struggled when he arrived but he was young, lanky and getting up to speed in the epl. Hes now older, built like a brick **** house and understands the league. As you say him v VVD would be a class battle to watch!

Yes I see your logic in this and I agree. He can’t do much worse than Gordon and we get Gordon in his natural position.

Frimpong out injured.
Defintely get Gordon out on the left wing.
Anyone else, anyone, at centre forward.
