In trouble and there's no getting away from the fact. It's not negativity it's reality. Newcastle need 2 or 3 unlikely results in a row to avoid being drawn into the relegation battle.
We've only played 8 games and we're already 9 points clear of the relegation zone.
Anyway, back to sanity for a second, today's results have been pretty good, but I wish Everton lost.

Chelsea are getting their **** together. A lot of teams are.
If we do get a result tomorrow that would be brilliant. But I fear we might get a hiding.
I think we'll get beat but a win would be brilliant. Newcastle seem pretty toothless and when you look through the side there's literally 1 or 2 players with goals in them so it's hardly surprising.
That statement alone is a pretty damning assessment of the situation tbf
