The commentary from Howard was excruciating. The referee missed the two pen shouts I feel.
I think Joelinton was letting him know and of course the ref couldn't wait to blow when he won a 50 50.

Yeah just watched a Craig Hope YouTube he said the same. I didn't get to watch the whole thing but saw most of the 1st half and the highlights. Seems plenty of positives to take considering we were messing about so much. Quite impressed with what I saw of Anderson.
I think people are nieve if they think other clubs will only prepare based on a pre season friendly. Howe's just exterminating and getting minutes in players.

Good run out vs a nearly full strength Villa while we had half a team out, slight concerns are the early goals conceded and the fact we keep falling behind in games but it's only preseason.
Anderson looking like he's got the bit between his teeth this year and Miley again looked good. Not sure what the formation was all about and if it was a way to try Bruno and Sandro in a double pivot but for a first try it didn't go to well but plenty of time for them to find their rhythm together.
Plenty of mins in the tank for the boy's and another good preseason work out. 8 goals in three games shows we will score plenty but need to find a way to shut the back door (but need to see the back 5 starting Pope, Tripps, Schar, Botman, Burn)
