Yeah, I'll take that. They are only 1 point behind us, but we have a game in hand on them (and Leeds). Just hope the bottom 3 don't start picking up points. Burnley are the only real threat - I think - with their games in hand and games vs 4 of the bottom clubs (including us). Hopefully Watford and Norwich are gone. If so then it's 1 from Burnley, Everton, Leeds, Brentford and us. I really don't care who, so long as it's not us. Would quite like Leeds to stay up, but not if it's a straight choice of them or us.
Yeah, a general lack of quality up front. If we stay up, we needrto see a lot of changes - IF the owners really are serious. Staying up is the real key right now, whatever it takes.
****ing shocking penalty decision by the Mike Dean backed up by VAR how the **** do City keep getting soft pens and we get **** all
I wonder if there is any official (independent) analysis over the year of which referees are involved in which controversial decisions - and which teams their decisions do/don't favour. Including (in fact, especially) those on VAR duty.
Oh come on Roly, at least TRY to see SOME positives from this. I mean for one, Wood has found the back of the net - albeit against Fiji... And two... well... err... he's over 11,000 miles away from Newcastle...
Toon beat Gulf United 5-0, goals from Joelinton, ASM and Gayle. Game was only an hour long I won’t mention that wood wasn’t playing and we scored at will. Oops.
