i dont remember saying it was funny? i just said his name was unfortunate Good luck with the neck bender.
It's one of this injures that could put him out of the game...! Part of me wants to see the injury as it happened but at the same time I'm sure it'll be extremely disturbing... I want to see the super fantastically quick reactions by the physics and doctors. They deserve a massive amount of credit, especially with a crowd watching them for 30s. Hope he recovers well!
Thank goodness, it appears it is severe concussion only. He's going to feel bad in the morning, but at least he should fully recover and play football again.
I saw this last night flashing across the bottom of the Skysports screen at 9.55pm so I thought I'd wait to see the headlines at 10pm as it sounded really bad. Typical SSN... first headline..."no trouble in England footy camp", second headline.."England egg chasers gulilty of behaving badly"... I really think that a game being abandoned after such an horrific incident should have been a headline story with major concern for his well being. Oh no, not Sky - dick heads. Only worried about the big boys. My best wishes to Tom and his family. Hope he recovers fully.
It was the major headline on the Beeb's football website. At least they have remembered what is really important.
About what? Could be misunderstood. I some time ago made a quip about Brighton missing out in signing the guy, not so funny now, I hope he recovers well along with our own Danny S.
Obviously, I wish him all the best and hope he makes a speedy recovery. However, I can't help but have a little smirk at his name...
Not about Tom but about Saints fan and Basingstoke Town youth team player Jake Chamberlain who suffered a fractured skull and blood cot whilst being attacked last week on a night out: http://www.basingstoketown.net/acad...outh-player-suffers-assault-on-night-out.html
