Having watched both regular triathlons, I'm going to have to watch tonight/tomorrow morning's bonkers-sounding mixed triathlon relay. With both men's and women's silver medal-winners in the team, GB are favourites for the gold.
Just started. Still trying to figure it out.

Right, so it’s a short version times how many per team?

no one remembers who came fourth at the olympics

I wasn't going to boast but now that you have mentioned it, if you were to consider the medal tally and the number of people per capita, the land of Oz is probably ranked number one but l hadn't planned to skite about it.:emoticon-0100-smile

Old mother Hubbard crashes and burns, probably to the relief of the organisers. Nothing remotely female about him...

Brilliant reaction from Keely Hodgkinson 19, on winning silver in the 800m in a new British record time and the 8th fastest time ever. Looking at the screen after the finish, clearly saying ‘what the ****!’. Great race, 7 of the 8 runners set personal bests including all 3 Brits.

I was pretty ambivalent about these Olympics when it kicked off, but really getting into it now. Think it was the triathlons, all versions, which warmed it up.

13 year old Sky Brown competing for GB in skateboarding tomorrow. She has a British dad and a Japanese mum, was born in Japan and lives there, except for when she is competing and training in the US. As far as I can tell she has never lived in the U.K.

The other U.K. competitor is Bombette Martin (15) who also has a British dad, was born and lives in New York City, though she has spent time in Birmingham.

They have shared nearly £200k of lottery money preparing for these Olympics.

If they win medals I’ll be delighted, but this does sound a little tenuous……
