Really pleased for Tom Daley, he seems to have been around forever but perseverance pays off, that final dive with Lee was the dive of a lifetime...

Anybody watching the women’s triathlon? GB good chance of getting 1st & 2nd, mind you anyone from the five leaders

I went to bed when they were about six laps into the bike race. Seems it didn’t go quite to plan after that…..

I watched it all. Great effort by Georgia Taylor-Brown to win silver after getting a puncture in the bike race. She wouldn't have got anywhere near the winner, though.

The Aussie girls got gold, quote….”F—k yeah!”
A simple ‘marvellous stuff that’ would have been sufficient but l guess she was excited.

Aussie sensation Kaylee McKeown wins GOLD in 100m backstroke

Yes I did & that Bermuda winner was immense in running & such a power house, as you said Taylor-Brown did so well after her mishap

Am I the only one thinking that the Russian Olympic Committee team having gained 16 medals and 4th place in the medals table so far might indicate that the doping ban on Russia is, well, a complete ****ing joke?

Hats off to Bethany Shriever, who as I am sure everyone knows by now, is a teaching assistant who crowdfunded her way to Tokyo with no help from U.K. Sport, and came away with a gold medal in BMX racing.

Makes the £27m invested in rowing for a return of a silver and a bronze and a promise to ‘rethink our approach’ look like a spectacularly poor investment. I have a feeling that our previously unbeatable velodrome cyclists may be in for a rough time too. Though they tend to come good at Olympics.

It’s an interesting set of algorithms, offsetting investment with success.

Having watched both regular triathlons, I'm going to have to watch tonight/tomorrow morning's bonkers-sounding mixed triathlon relay. With both men's and women's silver medal-winners in the team, GB are favourites for the gold.
