Typical rope-a-dope from Italy. Sat back for 15 minutes and scored with their first attack.
Fantastic move from England leading to the penalty.
Good game.
 
England been poor really and lucky not to be behind. Phillips and Stones both look like they've hardly played, Trippier out of position badly needs some help on the left hand side. Rashford been poor imo, and spent more tine on the deck than the Titanic captain ! I'd replace him with Grealish for 2nd half, Foden needs to get into the game more too

Sorry mate, but I think that's bollocks.
England, after a slack period in the first half have been outstanding against a rejuvenated, good Italian side.
Foden, Rashford and especially Kane and Bellingham have been superb. Bellingham could easily become the best midfielder in the world.

Don't think Foden or Rashford did much 1st half, but obviously have improved 2nd half. Don't think this Italy side are a patch on their Euro winning one, Bellingham is already one of the best players in the world as is Kane who is just different gravy !

I think this Italian side looks potentially much better than that side.
Opinions eh?
If France or someone had put in this performance, people would be spunking all over the place.

As always, it's the defence that is the worry with us. Maguire still not near his best and Trippier as good a right back as he is will be shredded by top players on that flank without defensive help. Phillips is a worry as he's a little braindead and a walking red card against quality opposition.
