The players definitely need a rest though.
It's weird that Alexander-Arnold is in the first two squads, but then rests, whereas Foden is presumably the other way around as he's not in this squad.

I like this competition but the timing is all wrong for this year. This Qatar World Cup is going to **** up loads of things. But a few FIFA voters will have healthier bank balances because of it.

What Bellingham needs to learn quickly at this level is to stop giving the ball away cheaply.
He's done it twice already and really struggled against Hungary.

I find it remarkable that you consider him 'immensely talented'.

I suppose it depends what kind of 'talent' you admire. I'd rather watch a ball player than a clogger.

I notice you've never rated Reece James too. Another very talented player who has everything.
What do you think of Foden, any good?

Reece James is excellent and should play ahead of Walker.

Foden is superb and should play ahead of Mount.

I remember saying how talented I thought James was and you reacted as you did tonight over Phillips.
Maybe you'll see the light concerning him too. :biggrin:
Walker is in for his pace, although James is quite quick.
Yes, Foden for Mount. Foden must start.
 
Where is Grealish ? Foden out with Covid so you leave our other main creator on the bench for the opening 2 games ! Very strange. Regarding Phillips he has had an injury plagued season but when fully fit is an excellent cover for the defence and wins alot of ball. He's not the greatest player to watch but without players like him your more expressive players never get the chance to show their stuff. Pep is obviously a fan as he wants him to replace Fernandinho, Utd also want him !
