Oh, sorry. Some punctuation would have helped. I really couldn't choose, but probably Norwich. The Welsh players riled me that much.
Sorry, late night punctuation and sick coughing hubbie, so catching sleep when I can at moment. Yes I think I did. Roller said Norwich, I said Wales...
Found out we were playing today too, and thought the same. Also thought, the league has just finished, they are all ready for a break, and we have a pointless international. A proper break is surely needed to ensure they are rested and the quality of football doesn't suffer/injuries are picked up due to fatigue.
I do, as always. But these games are ridiculous. I like the Nation's League, but it should have been suspended for this year, with the World Cup in November. These 4 Nations League games, plus 2 friendlies are all Southgate has before the WC. The players definitely need a rest though. It's weird that Alexander-Arnold is in the first two squads, but then rests, whereas Foden is presumably the other way around as he's not in this squad. All a bit of a pig's ear imo.
Minutes after muscling Muller hilariously into touch, Phillips goes off with what looked like a dead leg. Shame, we'll miss him.
Before his injury last season, Phillips was England's player of the season. He'll be in the midfield for many years if he stays fit.
Incredibly high paced game. Germany breaking our press well. Shame we're having to play Trippier at left back.
Jeez. I hope not. Horrible, dirty, negative player. One of Phillips or Rice might be necessary, but not both of them. I wouldn't pay to watch either of them, but I would Bellingham.
You're wrong. Phillips is immensely talented but does the dirty work too. Bellingham is a huge talent too, agreed.
