Both Liverpool full backs have been disappointing.
Poor corners and crosses.
After so many huge games, this looks a step too far now they're behind.

Steve McManaman seems to be becoming more of a Madridista as the game goes on…..to be fair he won more with them than he did with Liverpool and he does seem to know a lot more about their team than Hoddle and whoever the commentator is.

Klopp chucking the kitchen sink at it now. Alamo time with Madrid sitting back.
 
Fair play to RM.
They have looked second best in all the later stages of this competition, but, along with a World class keeper, they have always found a way.
I rather suspect that Liverpool would have hammered them a few months ago.
They look knackered and lacking in ideas.

Although for historical and personality reasons I love Carlo, I don’t like RM much, Franco’s team, ultra privileged for decades etc. But man, do they have a grip on this competition. This version of Madrid is the weakest there has been for a long time, but full of determination. Helped tonight by setting up cleverly, and facing a team 10% below it’s best.

The proverbial game of two halves.
Liverpool win that but for Courtois.
As the old adage states, 'goals change games'. In this case, half time did too but not as much as the goal.
Sorry for the Liverpool fans. I'd have preferred them to win.
