I’m flying against public opinion, but I like Bruce as a manager and (I think) as a person. He comes across as a pretty honest, straightforward individual and has had his fair share of abuse.

Having said that, I hope he keeps WBA where they are this season.

TBH Uber, l'm with you.
I've always liked SB and he's saved a few clubs over time but think he's a bit limited in how he goes about things.
To me, he's in the perfect situation now ............... saving a club from relegation. That's what he does best, oh, and promotion from the Championship.
He's Achilles heel is taken a PL club up the ladder.

Lets face it, he's had more clubs that golf bag!

It's been a frenetic first half hour at St Andrew's.

Action at both ends. Insurrection in the stands. Whistling. A tannoy announcement of 'Please do not use whistles in the crowd'. And then more whistling.

It all adds up to a very odd atmosphere. But nothing that compared to the drama of the faulty ladder to the TV gantry here in the pressbox, which took up most of the first 20 minutes.

It's a neat looking rope and pulley contraption, which looks like it was invented by my handyman father-in-law, until it stopped working, that is.

A Blues steward has sorted the situation and it now looks to be safely tethered until anyone wants to come down it at half time. But it was such a distraction that no scribe close to the incident appears to have taken a single note of what was happening meanwhile out on the pitch!
 
Sheffield United come from behind to win at Birmingham ffs. Puts them on 42 points from 27 games. 6 of their next 8 games at home somehow, they are putting a push on for the play offs !
 
How have Utd not scored 10 lol ? Lumley has tried to gift them 2 goals but Fernandes and Ronaldo have somehow contrived to miss them. At least its going extra time, hopefully take a little out of some of the Boro players legs for Wednesday !

They made alot of changes, hopefully not. Lumley really is awful, pray he doesn't have the game of his life on Wednesday. Ran off celebrating as if he'd saved 3 pens but hadn't even saved one lol
 
I'll be happy if we create half that amount of chances on Wednesday, we just need to take them ! Lumley will gift us something, just have to be ready and expecting it
