I just looked at our 1975-76 fixtures out of curiosity and was a bit surprised.....

20 December 1975 Liverpool A 0–2 39,182
26 December 1975 Norwich City H 2–0 Masson, Bowles 21,774
27 December 1975 Arsenal A 0–2 39,021
10 January 1976 Manchester United A 1–2 Givens 58,312

So we played two in two days and then nothing for a fortnight, apart from an FA Cup game.

And we lost 3 of them.......

Also there was no such thing as International breaks back then and we had to play 42 league games, although the games were more evenly spread......

After the Norwich game on Easter Saturday we played Arsenal on Easter Monday with a 11:30 am kick off........

Blackpool get a late leveler against Boro

Edit....

And then Boro get an even later winner..........

Dias scored winner for Blackburn again ffs, level on points at the top now. Unreal. We're in danger of getting cut adrift of the top 6, we badly need to grind out a couple of victories

Calm down. Everything will be alright in the end - and if it's not alright, it's not the end.

Except there will be an end won't there? And we might not have enough points! We're ****ed, aren't we?

Citeh, as usual, going down like they've been shot at every opportunity at Arsenal.
Arsenal down to 10 men trying to hold on at 1-1.

All Pep's teams are the same and all the officials lean towards City so obviously.
