Arsenal finally get a win and move off the bottom of the Premier League with a narrow 1-0 victory over Norwich leaving them bottom on Nil points. That'll make Col and others very happy.
Amazing stuff at Monza today. Hamilton and Verstappen take each other out again (all a bit Schumacher/HIll) and Maclaren are currently 1 & 2. Bottas, who started at the back of the grid, currently 4th and could still win it, though.
I didn't think so either, I feel sorry for both players. Unfortunately these injuries occur from time to time.

Agree it didn't look a wreckless challenge in real time... just one of those unfortunate things.... still think it was wrong to send off the lad based in the extent of the injury but that seems to be the norm these days....
It was similar to Everton's Gomes leg break when Spur's Son got sent off. That wasn't a red either. It was an accident.
The premier league have stated that the red card was due to the "intensity and endangerment" to the Liverpool player... go figure?
The referee didn't even award a free kick for the challenge and having watched it back it was a good tackle with a horrible outcome. The red was for the injury?
I feel for the young lad but how the **** do you wait to see the extent of an injury to decide the punishment.?! Cooper did an exact challenge on Mane yet there was no free kick, no card. If he had been injured by a twist or cooper connecting would it have been a card? It will be against the law to tackle at all soon.
I dont even think it was a free kick Col the ref certainly didnt think so.
