Have to say that is an absolute nonsense, he's pointing where he wants the ball played in behind the defenders, his body is way behind the last defender and they're picking up his armpit as offside........ The elite officials are being way too forensic in their interpretation of the offside law when sitting in the VAR chair and show that they have absolutely no feel for the game that they are supposed to officiate over.......

They aren’t meant to have a feel for the game though. The rule has been changed to suit the VAR era. They can’t do anything but draw the stupid lines and see which one is closer to the goal.

In that case the new rule is a nonsense........

This whole VAR thing was brought about because the TV pundits were for ever complaining about officials missing "obvious" infringements........be careful what you wish for as this is the result......

EDIT....it was a case that most officials did have a feel for the game, now they're just robots........

Looks like Sheffield United have been rumbled....4-1 down at that lot from SW6

Ebs star player for palace.....maybe now the rest of the premier league will wake up to what we know already......

Fulham playing some nice football but don't get enough bodies in the penalty area to give them the opportunity to score, most of the time it's mitrovic against 4 defenders......

Lookman looks a decent prospect on the wing for Fulham, think it was Charlton that they got him from....
