Josh Murphy scored both goals in Oxford Utd's promotion-winning League One play-off final 2:0 win over Bolton today. We will be welcoming Josh back to Carrow Road with the Us next season <applause>

Not a bad FA Cup final, I didn't expect Man City to be that poor, though. I guess maybe Man U supporters will be stuck with Erik Hag for another season, now?

Maybe history will repeat itself. Ferguson was on the point of being sacked in 1990 when Man U faced Notts Forest in the 3rd Round of the FA Cup. Mark Robins scored the goal that won the game for United, and the rest is -- well -- history.

Watched England beat Spain 3:1 in the U17s tournament tonight. Three excellent finishes for the England goals, but a rather depressing descent into ill-temper, sledging and s***housery all too familiar from the behaviour of their elders.

In the Bundesliga/2 Bundesliga relegation/promotion battle 2nd leg between Bochum and Fortuna Dusseldorf, third from bottom Bundesliga club Bochum reversed the 1st leg scoreline to tie the contest at 3:3 after FT. They went on to win the penalty shootout 6:5 to preserve their top tier status. So no fairy tale ending to Tzolis's season on loan at Fortuna:
"Despite [Fortuna] carrying a threat on the counter, it was not sustained, and star player Christos Tzolis found himself out of the game owing to a superb Tim Oermann performance".

HT score in the opening game of EURO 24 in Munich: Germany 3:0 Scotland. Scotland down to 10 men after Porteous was red carded after giving away a penalty.
First goal came from a shot from outside the box, which Gunn got a hand to but could only turn onto the post and in. Scots haven't yet managed a shot on target. Tony Kroos running the game for the hosts; Arsenal's Havertz scored Germany's third goal, from the penalty spot.

Today England play Slovakia, having previously played Slovenia and Serbia. If they win they will then play Switzerland. Spain are still in the competition but Sweden are not there. How many 'S' teams are there in Europe?
