I think we can see where this is going. Arteta gets sacked after they get thumped by Man City, a new manager in place for the international break, a fired-up team for the next game at home to us.
I was thinking exactly the same!

Should of clung on to him for longer than we did.Norwich reject scores Bees first ever Premier league goal .

He's been really consistent ever since he returned to Brentford.
He was 3rd choice behind the Murphy brothers at the time and struggled to get much game time when he went to Brentford, but has been a late developer. He's very much a winger though, and wouldn't fit in Farkeball and certainly wouldn't displace our options now.Should of clung on to him for longer than we did.

That's a shame. Never mindBuendia not having a good start at Villa
Has he scored?Srbeny is playing for Paderborn against Werder 3-0 up
Nope he's playing on the right of a front 3Has he scored?
Good luck to him he's a brilliant playerSkipp having a good game for Spuds
No chance of him coming back
Not sure about good game. All Spurs got a rating of 7 or 8 except Skipp who was 6 on Sky.Skipp having a good game for Spuds

Doesn't that say more about the WhoScored rating system than about Ollie Skipp?Skipp scored 6.76 on WhoScored, 10th out of 11 Spurs players. His average score for us was similar.
No, I don't think it does Robbie. Skipp was very effective and competent at his DM role, but offered little more on top of that. He didn't score, other than that one breakaway goal, he had few assists and played few killer passes or through balls. That's about a 6.75 rating for me compared to a Yaya Toure, for example. B+ rather than an A in my report.Doesn't that say more about the WhoScored rating system than about Ollie Skipp?
That's true, but his value to the team was enormous precisely because of it. That's what the WhoScored ratings fail to capture. I wonder what Darren Huckerby's ratings looked like. Or Vidic's at Man United, who seldom made a tackle. A player's performance value often derives, not from what he does but what he doesn't do.Skipp was very effective and competent at his DM role, but offered little more on top of that.
That last bit has a cryptic charm, Robbie, but sorry, I'm not convinced. My rating still coincides with WhoScored's.That's true, but his value to the team was enormous precisely because of it.
