I won’t pretend to not care about how Bees, Swans and Wasps do, but my head is saying we have enough of a cushion that we can be pretty relaxed as these teams will all have good pitches and bad patches - the important thing is we keep picking up an average of 2 points per game from here and I am sure we will then be fine

Great results today. If we can get to 90 points, Watford need 9W 3D 1L and Swansea need 9W 4D 2L to get level (and probably go above us on goal difference). Plus they have to play each other on the last day of the season.

Win tomorrow and we have a nice 10 point cushion between us and 3rd and 19 points above 7th .

I was hopeful for today, but 3 out of 4 losing (Reading also lost) was beyond my wildest hope. That puts a huge dent in Swansea's 2 games in hand and if we win tomorrow 10 points is a lot of ground for Watford to make up in 13 games and 11 for Swansea to make up in their remaining 15. Though not a 'must win', Brentford at CR on Wednesday is a great opportunity.

That puts a huge dent in Swansea's 2 games in hand and if we win tomorrow 10 points is a lot of ground for Watford to make up in 13 games and 11 for Swansea to make up in their remaining 15. And the key thing is that two of these teams have to finish above us in order for us not to be automatically promoted. If one of them goes on a ridiculous run of form, it doesn't matter, because two of them need to do this.
