Well this is the weirdest article I have read in a long time https://www.footballcritic.com/news...in-again-swansea-drop-vital-points-55816/2605
Positively weird Rob. I'm no fan of journos but that has to be the most ill considered and incompetent report I've seen.
Half-baked -- only the opening three sentences. IMO the contributors to these sites shouldn't be "dignified" even to the extent of referring to them as "journos"!
Fair play to the Brentford manager - no moaning about the ref or anything else Brentford boss Thomas Frank: "Congratulations to Norwich. I think they are 100 per cent certain to be promoted. "That is not mind games or anything like that, it's based on the quality of their performances this season. They are now 10 points clear, they have the same team who won promotion two years ago, no injuries and have an excellent coach in Daniel. "Norwich deserved to win because they created more chances. Our performance might have been good enough against many teams in this league but not the number-one team. I am disappointed that we could not produce our best against them. "We needed to be better on the ball and in our decision making and needed to create more. We have to remember that we are still in a good position."
It’s quite a nice feeling seeing the results of our nearest competitors and realising that a lot has to change before it starts to matter how they do...
Blackburn have Swansea today and Brentford Friday there may be an upset or 2 there before we play on Sunday
Blackburn have scored against Swans, but then Swans get a(nother!) penalty almost immediately to equalise
Expect one of their players to trip over their bootlaces in the penalty area in the 98th minute for Ayew to fire in the winner.
At least the penalties have to dry up eventually, right? It's not sustainable to keep getting results that way.
