It is very true what Twf'ys saying, I find myself getting Incredibly Tired all the time!!!!!!
Unlike it though, I find it even more tiring being in that minority of people that it speaks of!!!!

77, don't let it get to you, as that is the reaction it wants to generate from the masses. It's a bit like a Vampire, but instead of blood it needs the posts that others use to denounce it with, or point out where it's comments differ from the majority, is what it thrives on!!!
Stop feeding it and it will go to pastures new!!!

"The man who looks back never wins anything, the man who has his eyes set ahead will succeed..."

TWF, reliving the past is a waste, and returning manager and players rarely succeed, so embrace the future.

All I'm seeing is bile being spouted at a City fan you don't agree with so he's jumped all over and people demanding he be banned, yet on another thread, a clear City fan masquerading as a TWS fan, you're happy to be wummed by.

I do not agree with TWF, I think Nige will do us proud next season, and I think the teams in better shape than I can remember for a long time, it's just the way you all react to TWF that makes me boggle.

Agree completely. This was a quote in Pat Collins column about Mourinho, think it sums up NP's approach. "If your approach is results-based and you don’t get the result, what’s left?’" F****** tedium for the most part.

There is no doubt the home form needs addressing as it is unlikely that we will match this years away form next year. So we need some change in staff. As the club have already stated that we will be bringing in 5 new players they are aware as well.

Its who they are , where they play and if they will make the difference.

That's football and that's why we love it deep down. If our results had been reversed with wins home and away who would raise an eyebrow. The damage was done early season when we had nowt.

It should not be forgot the that the club was really up **** creak over money. The pressure on an individual or organisation that is unmercifully in debt can not be calculated until you have experienced it.

The bottom line and the rest of the season is irrelevant is that we have a club to support thanks to the Allam Miracle( that is not an understatement) and we will never be as lucky again.

exactly, maybe somebody could offer an opinion on that, instead of just waffling insults at somebody, who imo speaks a lot of sense at times...easier to hunt in packs tho isnt it..;)

the fact is, the away form wont continue next season..its just law of averages..its been been a great success and great ride, but is almost certainly bound to level itself out next season...

turning around something hes had a full season too, and come nowhere near doing , isnt quite as certain....im probably not a city fan either tho, so just ignore me..

DJ, It would help his mojo if he talked a bit more about other subjects than his waffling insults about Pearson and Pearson.

His other comments get lost as he starts too many slinging matches. He has a point re the home form and stagnating performances.

Why be worrying about next season? We have 4 months of summertime to enjoy during which time AP & NP will be working to get a better squad of players together to hopefully improve things for next season.

City were'nt good enough this season but next season will be totally different - we may be better, we may be worse - nobody knows for sure and thats the beauty of football. At least try and enjoy it.

If TWF wants to be taken seriously, then he needs to stop slagging off three of the most popular people at the club, he knows perfectly well what's going to happen to his threads when includes some AP, NP, NB slagging'.

i would say the amount of people left in the stadium for the lap of honour says, one of those people isnt as popular as some think...

I belive you refer to NP.

As a supporter for 40+ years i know dozens of City fans through family, socially, following the team and at work. I personally have not spoke to one in conversation who thinks NP has done a bad job.

Maybe its the newer supporters 2004 onwards who are used to more constant success who are too quick to criticise.

However we are all entitled to our opinion i would guess.

away from this site, the opinion of people i speak to is very split, some newish fans, but mainly old, one in fact who has been going for 60 years.....nobody says hes done a bad job or is a bad manager, but not everybody is convinced hes as brilliant as some either...
i dont think hes a bad manager at all, i just think hes the sort of manager scunthorpe needed, as i doubht hed get anybody relegated from this league, i am equally sure he will never get us out of this league the other way either, unless he drasticlaly changes his way of thinking...
i kept going on last week about how in a must win game at qpr, he still left 3 men back for a last minute corner, and i seem petty to keep going on about it, but its not just that incident, its that incident just sums up his attitude to the game, it was must win and he was protecting the draw...
as you say its about opinion, and i hope you are correct and i am wrong, but i think we should get used to 10th, as thats where we will live for the forseeable future..imo..

Watcha KK. I think that has been asked of Twf'y before, as well as Lunchbox, but he has denied he is either of them! I don't think he is TonyM, as the style of his posts do seem to differ from the crap put on the Fail site by TonyM, but I will probably be proved wrong!!!!

TWF isn't TonyM, they both wind people up, but in completely different ways.

One makes valid points, but in a stupid way, whereas the other just makes stupid points.

As much as it pains me to say it, I agree very slightly with TWF in that the team needs a little bit more flair to win supporters around, but the fact is we were doomed at the start of the season and now we have a promising future, with young players that want to play and aren't here for the money, and going from the relegation zone to having a more or less completely rebuilt team a few points off the play-offs is a massive achievement by the manager and coaching staff.
