Wishing you all the best, lost the FIL to it, as he left it to late, Uncle had it, thankfully caught early enough and it was removed and he is now fine.

Not been on in ages.. gutted to hear this.. was my favourite scouser. Was even thinking about him last Sunday, as had an argument with an Evertonian in the pub who seemed to like Liverpool too much and got deeply offended when I suggested that the European cup was less of a feat when Liverpool won it a lot.

The OP says he was terminally ill mate and given how long since he last posted I'd say it doesn't look good unfortunately.
Still keep hoping to see him pop up on here one day defying the odds... But yeah, shame to see him go.

I mean I knew the chances were not good, but now knowing the details I fear the worst already.
Really I got on very well with Tobes.. We bickered and went after eachother in mafia games, but in the end became good mates on here.
Anyway it's very sad news and it's him and his loved ones that matter.
I will harbour hope until there is none.

Everyone should have no fear or embarrassment for getting yourself checked out, whatever that ailment might be.

Yikes. That's not good. So chances are he's already left us if that was sent back in Feb. 
If he is still out there, I hope he's comfortable as is humanly possible, and finding some enjoyment in his life despite his illness. The most important thing for everyone is happiness as that's what makes life worthwhile. I'm glad he lived to see his granddaughter.

I was clinging onto the little doses of hope I was picking up from Brb's OP and I was happy to go with that but the details in Brb's latest post are a bit of a punch to the guts...wind out of sails moment...I feel the dark cloud over the forum having read that
