Funny thing about Magennis he went from hero to zero ...could do nothing wrong at first fans loved him ...then could do nothing right and hated ..don’t happen often not including off pitch stuff like snake Taylor
Football is a short career, Taylor was looking after his future. Why should any employee look at things differently?

Personally I think Magennis over achieved in his first few months with us, and then found his true level (which our fans didn’t like).

Ffs, Dr Kojak wants to pay me a visit at 15.00

His 100k+ plus salary does not extend to paying his electricity bill.

Trying to second guess the team is a thankless task, but my prediction is
Amos
Matthews, Gunter, Pearce, Pratley, Maatsen;
Maddison, Watson, JF-C;
Smyth, Bogle.
Not necessarily in that formation.

Here’s a question - would anyone have Hull’s Josh Magennis back ahead of any of our current 4 strikers ?

I’d say he’s better than Bogle

Different to Smyth

Equal to Washington

And fitter than Aneke <laugh>
Hadn't realised Magennis had played for you. He was very ordinary for us in Championship last season. Done better this season in League One but still blows hot and cold. We have 2 central strikers, Magennis and Eaves, who have a regular habit of being very ordinary when they start a game, and often look quite good when they come on as a substitute for the other one! Suspect Magennis will start ahead of Eaves if fit, but we're waiting to see who's missing through Covid - apparently could be 3 or 4 from regular first team.

We looked at Tom Eaves.

Unfortunately for him, he saved his worst performances of the season for when we played the Gills, and our fanbase identified him as something of a donkey :emoticon-0148-yes:

A very negative line up.
All the match winners on the bench
