Bemusement? You're not kidding anyone.

Your frequent posts about us appointing Pulis reek of trepidation. They have the effluvium of hysteria. I can picture your hands tremble over the keyboard as you type your way to an uncontrollable swirl of terror.

I like very much.

Lets wait and see!

I for one would relish a Pulis Vs McCarthy clash at the next Old Farm! <ok>

Does that sound like I'm panicking?

the thing is Rob, even if pulis did go to you, all we need to do is to concertrate on ourselves and what will be will be, our season is defined by how well you do, as is the reverse.

so i can't see why you say we are panicing!

I agree, you shouldn't need to. It's illogical.

But the reality, particularly when it comes to derby rivals and as evidenced by the dense miasma of terror emanating from JWM's every post on Pulis, is that fans are not logical, don't concentrate on themselves when they should and, unsurprisingly given that you have been down-trodden compared to us for much of these last four years, don't want the pleasant feeling of finally being above us in the table taken away from you as suddenly as it arrived.

I wouldn't worry JWM, Its Rob in his own little world again!

The world that has a football manager who doesn't pick the side, doesn't do the subs, doesn't do the formation and doesn't do the coaching! hopefully he is a bloody good bus driver!

Ah now Guru you surely wouldn't be twisting my words for effect again would you? That would be so unlike you. You're never so dishonest, Mr Lily White Guru.

I would, on the other hand, love to know what Adams' responsibilities actually are. Because as far as I know it might only be driving the bus. And of course speaking to the press.

he's already on record as saying he would be prepared to drop down to the championship if the right offer came along. i think we can all agree that norwich are an attractive proposition at the moment with a very good squad, big crowds and money in the bank. if we offered him the job tomorrow i think he'd take it. he won't wait around on the off chance he gets a premier league job.

Thank you Supers. Exactly what I was trying to say but you put it better.

i said it the other day, i think pulis is a good fit for our squad. we have the players on our books to play an aggressive, direct (not hoofball) style of football. its far more suited to that than the possession game we are trying to use at the moment. naturally it would go down like a lead balloon with some of our fans but so did adams, so will anyone i expect! what i do know is that he is a very astute manager who has guided a provincial club to an fa cup final and six years premier league football. that's the kind of legacy that our club should be looking to lay the foundations for. would he come here? depends on what sort of gear the club shop sells...

You mean the style that Mick plays! <whistle>

well i could pretty much guarentee that he has the final say on selection, formation and subs are definately his.

If not, then you have a bigger problem than we hoped for!

i must admit it is pretty hard looking up at the scoreboard to see how many we are in front by!
If by some quirk of fate Norwich ever go above Ipswich again i will try my hardest to post on your board as often as you lot at the moment reminding you of the points total. The first 4 months when we were in the auto spots we didn't rub your dirty unwashed noses in it enough .

I very much doubt if Rob has seen us play this season because if he did he would realise that he's talking bollux! There is a big difference between a high tempo pressing game and hoofball as well he knows.

Well I had to wait 18 minutes for a little nibble, but my patience paid off because sure enough 7 minutes later I GOT A CATCH. A BLOODY GREAT CATCH!! I GOT MYSELF A WHOPPER, BOYS

No change there then.

Tbf, I don't begrudge them their fun. They've had to wait four years. Their team is playing to more than the sum of its parts and ours is looking pretty shoddy.

Though it does amuse me how easily Carrabuh strings them along - you'd think they'd be able to rise above it given our league positions. But I suppose that's because this positioning seems fragile and they couldn't face another four years.

Fear. Their posts are acrid with it. And it's delicious.

Probably because it's the only good thing going on at the moment...
