I have been there mate, but I'm going more by the tv series.

No, no, no.

There's been no Marbella TV series!

BENIDORM the TV series, is on the Costa del Sol, but it is FIVE HOURS drive away from Marbella.

Marbella borders onto Gibralter, it is not remotely like Benidorm.

It's not a 'resort' no neons, no strips of bars.

There is a strip in Banus, but that is hidden behind the beautiful marina.

Your mixing up your places here, big time!

The Costa del Sol is about 300 miles long, we are at the west, the ****holes are at the east <ok>

There is a tv series about Marbella, on Sky, and it is definitely full of mongs and crims. Stopped watching it as I was embarrassed by the lot of them, I think even Lineker's brother made an appearance.

I like benidorm like...... Don't shoot me haha. It's easy and plenty for bairns. When your jobs had you all over the world, I can't be arse with anything to involved. Only been there the once like for a couple of days but like i say, it's easy.

Mate, I credit you with the intelligence to know that programmes of that nature can be made to look any way the producers so wish.

If we're judging by that, according to Sky Sports News, no Toon fan has front teeth, and 93% are illiterate.

Ibiza uncovered made one of the most beautiful and alive islands on the planet look like a resort full of neon bars and pillheads.

And Geordie Shore made Toon lasses look easy. Oh, wait...

Mate, each to their own, Benidorm is very popular, so the appeal is there for some.

It's not for me, but I appreciate the benefit for families, everything is a bit strung out here, a lot of motorway driving, not good for a family holiday!

Spain is one of the scariest places to drive, along with Portugal, it is ****ing frightening.........people used to get killed every day on the motorway I used to have to drive on, absolutely hated even being in a taxi.

I'm easily pleased when it comes to out like this. I'm only home for 4 and a half week stints when I'm home from work so anywhere kid friendly, not too far on the plane that is hot and has a beach suits me down to the ground.

Don't I know it mate, the way you have to join the motorways is the problem, you have to pull on from a standing start, it's unreal.

Fortunately, my car has plenty of horses, but I wouldn't fancy it in a small engined car, no way.

The mad bastards think nothing of parking on roundabouts or on blind bends either, they are actually insane.

I've driven in Rome, Paris, Milan, New York and Tokyo, and none of them fazed me.

Here, you can be the best driver in the world, and the ****ers could still take you down.

They are insane.

Try Benalmadena mate, that's my end of coast, very popular, and I will even shout you a few bevvies in the Malaga Black Cats bar.

They have a Fulwell End, Clock Stand, Main Stand and Roker End, and show EVERY Premier League game live.

Footy heaven, 10 games? 10 screens. Love that ****.

80 cents a San Miguel.

**** me that's cheap. Our lass is looking up holidays at the minute for either June or August. I'll tell her to check it out. Is it good for bairns??

Aye, very much so.

You have Torremilinos, Benalmadena & Fuengirola all in a line, and they are all family friendly, very popular.

Not my cuppa tea, but perfect for the young uns, and cheap as chips as well.

You get good food this end of the coast as well, even in the cheaper places it's decent enough.

Just had a quick look there and looks spot on. I've text our lass because she sorts all this stuff out like I'm ****e at it, plus I'm away at work. Might give it a try actually. Was only talking with her today on Skype about booking up as well.

Aye.

Let me know if you head this way i'll gladly come have a beer with you, it's not 80cent a pint in Marbella mind, it's 6 times that, ha.

I'm confident. Obviously it's difficult to say what might happen, but on paper, I'm confident.

- Both teams on good form, playing good football with good managers, so Sunderland have no real advantage there over us
- We have the home advantage at SJP which is a big boost. If we play well this should be one of the toughest away games Sunderland have faced by far
- Cabaye and Tiote should win the midfield battle
- Two good goalies, but Krul edges it imo
- Defences are fairly even
- More firepower up front in Ba and Cisse

I really can't see any solid reason why Sunderland should beat us, so providing that we play 110% and don't gift them the game, we should come out of this as winners.

Our central midfield beats theirs any day of the week, but they are dangerous from the flanks with the young and fearless McClean, worried about Simpson's ability to cope with his vitality. Sessegnon and Campbell upfront makes me very nervous, considering our defence's woeful inability to deal with pace. Keeping Sessegnon quiet will be the key to keeping Sunderland quiet, but I'm very doubtful about our ability to manage that. Hopefully the two Dembas will outscore the ****ers <laugh> we have the quality to win, no doubt about that, it's a matter of application and who wants it more on the day - as is the case with derbies.
