I think it's going to be a bullying type of game, with not a lot of football played for the majority of the game.

I think you'll set up to defend and hit us on the break with your pace, as that is your only key tool at the minute, that or a screamer. If Pardew has anything about him, he would have realised this, and will play a deep line. Tiote will pick up anything in the middle, Cabaye will make it for us.

Still praying on a few injuries for you though.

Why would you do that, thats sound abit cowardly to me!!
Lets hope we both have our strongest team out and may the best team win!

Santon made his mark as a right back, got Italy caps in his teens, it baffles me to play him on the left.

A left footed right back also has less control tackling face on, and the last thing you want is to be giving Seb free kicks around the box.

Sanyton is pacey for a defender, and that could work against McLean, on the flip side McLean is stronger than a steroid pumped elephant with a short temper, and Santon might struggle on that basis.

Maybe Jonas vs McLean is your best shout.

Larsson is one player I would love to see break a leg thanks to the Tiote force. He's a cheating little scumbag.

I hope and pray Pardew sets you up like he did at Spurs.

His tactics were insanity.

'right lads, this is the quickest side in the league, what I want you to do, is leave massive gaping gaps in behind the full backs, so Colo gets pulled out of place to cover, Spurs will be confused, and we'll catch them on the hop'

Was he drunk?

I really don't see Larson offering you lot anything other than a set piece delivery. Don't rate him as a player. Used to think the same about ryan taylor but he has been top notch for us this season.

He does a lot actually mate, he's always available, and his delivery is not just set plays, it's open play as well.

He's a very decent player.

Set pieces are his forte, of course.

I'm not keen on him. I said the same in pre season as well like when we were on about signings weveould of liked that tou lot got. I don't think he has anything that raylor doesn't give us

As for being cowardly in our approach to this game, your main threat is counter attacking, we have to be wary of that. You don't really play through teams, you out run them.

We'll have a plan, but O'Niell will probably have something totally different up his sleeve. We'll see.

I meant the fact you were praying we'd pick up injuries was cowardly. I want to see both teams at full strengh, then no one can make any excuses!
