I would imagine if the squad tries their hardest but have natural shortcomings they won't be the target of frustrations, the recruitment team and Acun will be. If the players don't put in 100% though then they will definitely cop their fair share. I would imagine we will see a marked improvement from players such as Slater, Kamara, potentially even Giles though.

Don’t think we are limited to only freebies. He’s doing a great job there and can’t imagine he’s on great money there.

Don't think we're limited either - Walter being sacked finally disspells the myth we had some sort of PSR restriction - just think based on the names mentioned already (Schumaker, Robins, etc.) that we're intent on getting someone in quick smart. I'm also not sure Eustace's style would appeal to Acun. I agree though, he'd be a great get.

id take schumacher or robins from the names listed/ i can think of

i think schumachers job at plymouth is very under rated

Yeah think Schumacher is my favourite of the names listed, I'm a bit nervous on Robins without his assistant manager, although I still think on his own Coventry showed enough for me to be optimistic if it were him.

i heard schumacher can be quite difficult to work with, could be potential issues with acun there
but dont really know much what went wrong at stoke

Walter's Wikipedia entry gives his date of death as November 27 2024. :emoticon-0138-think

Scratch him off the list then. Players will throw a paddy the moment he makes them do something outside their comfort zone.

Now that Walter’s gone and club legend Dawson will take over temporarily, I anticipate the ire of the supporters will shift from the man in the dugout to the players on the pitch. Walter was an easy target because he had no connection with the club beforehand and didn’t cultivate one in his short time here. Dawson has a lot more goodwill in the bank with the supporters.

‘Sacked in the morning’ will be replaced with ‘you’re not fit to wear the shirt’ and these tossers deserve every bit that’s coming to them.
It does seem ironic that people are clammering for Roseniors and Walters cone man to now save us. If he was any good as a coach he would have either influenced the former named managers or walked away with some dignity.

Clean sweep is needed and that includes Dawson I'm afraid.
