I'm not really caring about the sarcasm if you guys were to bring it, but really proud of Krul's performance. Showed that he belonged there. Still hoping he'd be in between the sticks for us next season.

If it gets us more money then brilliant. Don't think he's that good. Has the odd moment like last night and at Tottenham. Could get a better keeper than Krul for less money.

I wasn't confident when Krul came on but the lad did good also full marks for Louis Van Gall for having faith in lad. Don't see Pardew pulling anything like that off.

We'll pick up a pretty penny for him. I thikn this display might make Krul very overrated (hes good but not a great) which is good news for our bank balance.

I'm staggered anyone is positive about the thought of him going. With this manager and boards record of transfers, who do you think we're bringing in?! I'd love to know who these "better and cheaper" keepers are, and why the folks on this board feel they have one up on the rest of the world with this desktop scouting.

I don't get the geometry pun in this.

It made a nice change for Krul, actually saving penalties instead of just sitting down on his backside watching the ball whistle by.

They may call it trying to get the psychological edge and all that, but personally I felt he acted like a complete t**t when he came on. Lost alot of my respect. We are talking about a guy who is making the only 5 minutes of playing time he will get in the WC, talking trash to a group of players who have put in weeks of hard graft, sweat and tears to create a memorable WC legacy for themselves. Would not have complained if one of the Costa Rica players has saw it fit to physically "usher" him back to his goal.

Here's hoping Messi and co. manage to turn it on in the semis and send the dutch hatchetmen home
