Interesting. Yet my opinion is based on how he can get into the head of a player, in the right way, to bring the best out of him...like Keane did.
They both kept the game as simple as they could....And as simple as it is.
Some say that their style of football wasn't all out attack, however, they never disencouraged the flair players, did they?
Keane played in arguably best team ever team (The Class of 92) which was awash of flair, grit and determination lead by a manager that he has learned from.
I disagree that managers from the past, should stay in the past.
The modern day managers are also vulnerable trying to make their own mark in the modern game...a' la, Lampard, Potter, Gerrard and Jones etc.
I'd have either Keane or big Sam back...
