Back and fore banter? That died years ago when Hughs, egged on by the sanctimonious die hards on the Cardiff board trolled our boards for fun. Personally, I would like the banter, but it normally ends after two lines when the old clichés "We are your capital" and "Our club is bigger than yours" tend to come out.

Well that's understandable after the way you boys played against Chile, they played you off the park with their possession game, kind of reminded me of Swansea, a few seasons back! man they made England look pedestrian, should have appointed Harry!..............<ok>

In fact, after the derby I went on to the Cardiff board and had some banter with Dai Jones and aberdude - and I didn't tell them to **** off.

and swanselona if my comment had been read properly in the first place it was a mere question asking if the photo was his father hence the ???? mark at the end yes the word **** was used which i shouldnt have done but I did and was taken way out of context, but anyway that is the past.....

It has taken a very long time for someone to come out and see what i complained about many times what was happening and are finally doing something about it....well done valley.<ok> keep doing the mods job as this forum needs someone sensible to run it properly, even posh mentioned cliques in her post and that is from an outsider....Fans will use this forum if it is run as it should be and some like me will use all the forums...

I well remember the days before we got into The Championship. The piss taking,abuse,etc. All good clean fun for them.
Then we beat them in a League Cup tie,or whatever it was called in those days,and all hell began to break loose. It never really got any better.
And then we made the Premier League,and hey ho,the rest,as they say...
It's not really possible to have any meaningful discourse with them,for as you point out,it's "we are the capital","we have bigger attendances",blah,blah,blah.

How much debt are they in now? Anyone have the latest figures?
 
not our concern really vetch is it. Its worrying to much about our cousins up the road and vice versa is the root of all this problem, we have all been guilty of it and its about time now that both clubs should concentrate on our own clubs and only visit their boards to give positive responses or proper intelligent discussions. How much debt and rubbish posts that are intended only to antagonize should not have to be tolerated on either board and the mods should delete and ban the offender...
 
Valley please ban these deserters, that are clearly not interested in discussing footy!.......................

Are some of our own really any different?

"We are a debt free club", "we are owned by the fans". I went over there, and although it wasn't proper banter, it was better than what was on show here.
 
So many lingering goodbyes, it's like a bloody re-run of Brief Encounter on here. Why don't those who've choppsed so loudly that they've had a enough on here just go to the other forum and be done with it instead of polluting this one for everyone else?

Vetch - that's a bit rich about the jibes of "capital" and "bigger attendances " - don't you like facts?

If there's anybody left on here after all this crap dies down, pop over to the Cardiff board and have a chat about football instead of having to put up with all this tedious negative garbage.

....and Aussie - don't know if you were able to see it, but I said some time back over on our board when you were banned that I'd be glad when it was lifted if only for the entertaiment value. I meant that in the best possible taste. :emoticon-0105-wink:

At least you, along with a good few others I can see on here have got the measure of the problem areas. Valley, I had my doubts about you some time back mate, and I did express them. I've changed my mind. <ok>
