"Why don't those who've choppsed so loudly that they've had a enough on here just go to the other forum and be done with it instead of polluting this one for everyone else?"

Possibly the most sensible thing Sparkey has ever said? (I'll ignore the accompanying wind up which was beneath him really).

Not having a go at anyone but if you don't like it here then go. No probs. Stop coming on here and causing havoc because you're making enemies out of friends and there's no need for it. You've all made your point numerous times and it's now turned into open abuse. Just go.

The new site was being openly made fun of just days ago and now it's "the future" <laugh> You honestly couldn't make it up.

The "jibes",as you put it sparkey, were to indicate the sheer monotony of the oft used statements, the continued use of which simply smothered any sensible discourse that may have been possible.

Only mentally challenged individuals would repeat such obvious "facts" on a day to day, post by post basis.

Must say, I do tend to agree with you VETCH, but it's hardly the crime of the century.

Don't know about the "mentally challenged" bit in your second sentence though, but I'll bow to your judgement on that one. Maybe you've got more experience of it than me being a Swansea supporter?

The "debt", "ting tong owner" blah, blah, seems to work the other way don't you agree?

Anyway, why aren't you becoming a mod yourself to sort all this sort of stuff out?

Good morning, sparkey,I have no desire to get into a which site has the most mentally challenged posters, since they are scattered throughout the 606 Forums.

However, any Forum that harbours the likes of john hughs deserves all the bad press it gets, and can in no way claim the high ground.

The "debt","ting tong owner" "blah, blah" are merely examples of general winding up and both camps have history of that,so again, don't try to claim the high ground.

I gave up regular visits to your Forum some time ago,in fact, one of the last posts I can remember making was to sympathise with you all re the death of one of your former players, someone whom I had seen on many occasions, and admired immensely.

One of your "mentally challenged " posters, not hughs, accused me of being "antagonistic"!!!

Re my "becoming a mod",well,I was nominated, but eventually felt it wasn't for me.

Of course, the super mods may have turned down my application had I made one, fearing that perhaps I was TOO "mentally challenged" as a result of all the years spent in and around Cardfiff.!!!

Good morning to you as well VETCH. Not going to get involved with indiduals who cause conflict on here - we have them on all forums. I can never see the point in being so overtly aggressive - what does it prove?

Also not claiming any "high ground" either. Ther are no winners on an open forum - it's far too impersonal for that.

As for your declination of the invite to become a mod, I have done the same thing on three separate occasions since the inception of this site and I don't blame you one bit. It has been said many times that it's a thankless task, and whatever others may think about our current two, they are as good as you'l get despite the flak they sometimes get.

Best of luck with your search for replacements, but in the meantime, as well as Ash who I've thought for some time to be very fair, I've also come around to thinking that losing Valley would be a big loss. I hope he stays and his detractors trying to undermine him bugger off to that other site and leave you lot get on with it.

As I respond to you sparkey,I am listening to "Peace in Liberia" by Alpha Blondy,on Spotify.

Wouldn't it be nice to have some peace in South Wales?

Sparkey. Sorry, but you say you're not claiming the high ground then come up with "Don't know about the "mentally challenged" bit in your second sentence though, but I'll bow to your judgement on that one. Maybe you've got more experience of it than me being a Swansea supporter? "

It's either a wind up, sarcasm, or a little of both but it's certainly taking the high ground.

As Vetch rightly points out your board has treated visitors badly too - Vetch has has a bad reaction over innocuous posts and so have I. In fairness to our mods we've yet to ban anyone over future conduct which can't be said of Blue Sheep. Still find that amazing to be honest.

Furthermore, and again as rightly pointed out, your board includes the likes of Hughs and Swamp (his recent behaviour here makes Hughs look like a saint - well, almost) - both of whom have been egged on by Cardiff fans. Even now Swamp is getting sympathy from some on your board with comments about how terrible our board is and how disgraceful our mods are. "Rise above it. You're better than that." was one comment. Said poster conveniently forgot the 14 threads started in one hour here by Swamp. <doh>

Although the open abuse here amongst Jacks needs to be dealt with firmly we have some strong characters here and that's half the problem.

So although you talk a lot of sense and your opinions are well articulated, I respectfully suggest you think again before coming out with ridiculous comments like the one above. If you base a board's strength on the quality of its posters and the reaction it gives to visitors then yours is no shining beacon.

What exactly has been going on? There was a lot of talk about this on the Liverpool board last week and it's continuing this week. Why are people leaving and others getting banned?

Aussie - if you're talking about the sentence I've highlighted as the "ridiculous comment" I made - have you ever heard of banter on the forum? For goodness sake don't be so serious and take everything as an attack on your club and posters.

There are plenty of instances on both boards where visiting posters have been "wronged", and if you want to live in the past trawling them up and holding grudges, the carry on.

Like I said (and you may have seen it on our forum), I have no idea why Swamp went off on one like that and it was not on. He may have his reasons and others on my forum may chose to support him on a sort of "club badge" principle, but that's not the way I saw it and I said so.

You have obviously noticed that I've started posting over here over the weekend - any problem with that?

You honestly believe by leaving this forum and going to the new site enmasse will eliminate the problems of personality clashes ,it's just being transferred elsewhere .Never mind lads it's a brave new world and you could be pioneers in the something which could be successful ,Somehow I doubt it

Nice to see some common sense ...

"any problem with that",without wishing to prempt Knackered, there is no reason why you should not post here, sparkey.

And yes,I had noticed that you have started posting over here again. It must be my new aftershave, powerful stuff,eh?

With you all the way on this, Ash. Nevertheless, I will be joining the new forum but will be staying here as well.

Another showing some common sense ... forums are not mutually exclusive ... and IMHO if the Leicester forum was confined to Leicester fans it would be boring as hell ... and likely that the posters would soon turn on each other ...
