I've got a mate going round Spainin a camper van. Mad twitcher. Think they're taking the piss calling it a short toed eagle mind.

Can you imagine a foreigner rocking up to a bank in 1960 or whenever with forged dollars, and the bank manager saying, “that’s a shame Johnny, here have a hundred quid, start your own business”

We should have ****ed him off the minute that fairy tale appeared, and ****ing idiots still think he saved us from oblivion, name the last club that went tits up, and disappeared, no you can’t someone always steps up.

How do you amass $600,000 or the Egyptian equivalent in 1960s Egypt?

That's serious wealth or serious access to snide money.

Allam has admitted that a close relative was married to a Castle Hill doctor so the "I had nowt when I arrived" story is not strictly true.
