Don't quite know what all the juggling is about. We're favourites to win both matches, I would imagine. Let's just go with that.
We still owe a debt of gratitude to B'mouth for helping us to survive. But we will always owe Pompey a hammering!
I went for least popular option because a big win v Bournemouth and a continuation of our good run will have a far greater effect on our season than losing to Portsmouth....especially as the loss to Portsmouth was by a single goal and not by a big margin. The result might be different if the option was only by a single goal in each game....I might have chosen to beat Portsmouth if the loss to Bournemouth was only 1-0.
A more interesting one would be how many league games would people be prepared to lose for a big win on Tuesday?
I've just watched the highlights from our last encounter with them lot in 2012. I forgot what a dirty bunch of cheats Appleton had selected that day. If you want Tuesday to be any bigger, have a look.
None or one....no more than that. Not so confident about our final league position that I'd risk more than that.
Yeah, it's not like I'm willing to drop a dozen eggs that I'm balancing on my head just to piss on a pompey football shirt that is 1 metre away. You have to have some sort of cut off to the madness. Lets not get this out of proportion!
Bournemouth is beginning to feel a little bit like a derby. In a good way, that is. Passion without hate. Personally I do not hate Pompey btw. I just really, really want to beat the dirty skate bastards, in their own ground.
Yeah its certainly different from your standard league match for sure and I do enjoy the matches and winning against them. Losing to them though, well the once it's happened anyway, doesn't feel much different to losing other games.
It's got nothing to do with the fact I'm seeing my Bournemouth supporting uncle and cousin on Saturday.
