so the winner of the Dante is not even entered in the Derby <laugh>

it makes the Epsom Derby Trial look pretty strong though.
Cracksman to start favourite despite not running today ?

Crystal Ocean not running in the Derby because Stoute knows he wouldnt lay a glove on Mirage Dancer

Look at the results last few days, been saying it for ages, York is a lottery track, used to be the best track in Europe and a guaranteed cert meeting, now its a mug benefit.

16:55 Salisbury - Intimately

(Needs to recapture some of last season's form. 7f distance probably just right for him).

Placepot is going to be very nice today for those still in it after that last race.

Add in soft ground and you might aswell set fire to your hard earned.

Ill be amazed if Churchill turns up, 1.01 St James Palace imo.

I agree about the winner running at Chester, Mirage Dancer looks a class above.
They might fire him in because this isn't great but most likely avoid it.

Cliffs of moher ahead of him for me. Halfcooked I thought. Not much between them though.

Spare a thought for young apprentice jockey Rossa Ryan today at Salisbury. In Division 1 of the apprentice handicap (16:55) he was beaten a short-head on Danecase, and in Division 2 (17:25) again nailed, this time by just a head on Lucky Louie. That's tough.

I cant have the Derby winner being named Cliffs Of Moher, doesnt sound right. Decent horse though.

Put forward for a nominee to be one of the modern 7 wonders of the world Edward. A beautiful spot, what more do ya want ??? Say it in an Irish accent 100 times and you will come around <ok>
