    so the winner of the Dante is not even entered in the Derby <laugh>

    it makes the Epsom Derby Trial look pretty strong though.
    Cracksman to start favourite despite not running today ?

    And 3rd place CRYSTAL OCEAN does not run in the Derby either.

    Crystal Ocean not running in the Derby because Stoute knows he wouldnt lay a glove on Mirage Dancer

    Look at the results last few days, been saying it for ages, York is a lottery track, used to be the best track in Europe and a guaranteed cert meeting, now its a mug benefit.

    Ill be amazed if Churchill turns up, 1.01 St James Palace imo.

    I agree about the winner running at Chester, Mirage Dancer looks a class above.

    They might fire him in because this isn't great but most likely avoid it.

    Cliffs of moher ahead of him for me. Halfcooked I thought. Not much between them though.

    I cant have the Derby winner being named Cliffs Of Moher, doesnt sound right. Decent horse though.

    Spare a thought for young apprentice jockey Rossa Ryan today at Salisbury. In Division 1 of the apprentice handicap (16:55) he was beaten a short-head on Danecase, and in Division 2 (17:25) again nailed, this time by just a head on Lucky Louie. That's tough.
