Killarney 3.05-Tandem win 3s.Needs to win here to get into Galway in a couple of weeks.
Ltown 9.00-Oor Jock Win 6/1.This lad has been hard to follow as he always seems to miss the break and gives 3/4 lts away.He always battles back though and if he can break reasonably well here he can make the frame.i'm giving this rascal one last chance!

Mick Dods will be pleased to know that the rain has hit Ireland and is set to continue for the next few days at least, so Meccas Angel should get a run in the Invincible Spirit Sapphire Stakes on Saturday all going well.

Had a re watch of Royal Chief's run the last day at Downpatrick and safe to say he would have won if not for blundering badly when well clear on the run in and with Brian Cawley taking over the reigns today who I feel is an excellent claimer, this lad should go close again at 4/1 in the Cill Airne 4:45.

Lady perch around 9s in the next beat the fav some time ago and is 20lbs plus better of in the weights to that outing

Anyone see Viconte Du Noyer winning the 4.10 at Killarney (what a lovely track) today? Jim Culloty's Logical Song set a strong gallop throughout but Henry de Bromhead's grey ran away from them over the last 3 and recorded a time 7.3 seconds quicker than standard on good to yielding ground. Has previously been well beaten by some of Willie Mullins best but might be interesting in a novices handicap - might see him at the Galway festival?

I did see it Oddy and it was impressive wasn't it. He's 6 now and is possibly starting to come to himself and is one to keep on side albeit I wouldn't take that form too serious with what was in behind.

Likewise, did anyone see Fields of Athenry win the staying race in Leopardstown just now? Set a good gallop out in front from the start under Seamie Heffernan and was able to quicken of it up the home stretch to win hands and heels by 10 lengths. Very impressive and looks a serious horse for the stayers division.
