Going back to this, it's top end so could be seen as being on the pricey side. Get what you pay for i reckon and lasts forever so you get your money's worth but still.

If you fancy top quality budget instead, another British made manufacturer is Sprayway. Their waterproofs are good gear.

I’ve just bought a sprayway down jacket. Comfy af and nice and toasty. <ok>

I wear XL and it's all comfortable.

I'd say they are about right, British made so British sizes.

That’s good to know. The US stuff like north face and Patagonia fits me fine in an XL. But the euro brands always seem to come up small.

I think some of the cuts are different in alpine or mountain gear and shells usually come up big to accommodate layers. I can even get away with an L in TNF shells if I’m just wearing a thin layer underneath.

Will check the mountain equipment gear and don’t mind paying for top end gear as performance defo suffers with cheap end clobber

Trainers are lovely <ok>

I only wear swim shorts, now. I don't like shorts that go down anywhere near my knees.

Right, August nearly done and it's getting all Autumnal on us.

Time to threads shop.

Just bought this bad boy. Been thinking of getting one and then found one with a 1/3 off so had to go for it.

I am James Bond. Might actually get to wear it out too, now they're letting us in pubs and that.

We went to Bicester village a couple of weeks back and I stocked up on a few bits and the Mrs absolutely minced my bank account with a boot full of stuff.

Gonna get myself some new Timbs for winter.

Barely went out last year.

Will have to look though me Autumn Winter stuff to see what's required but it'll be **** all, just a couple of new tops and I'm good.

This Barbour won't go down well, I've got a wardrobe full of coats, but I couldn't leave it there with the discount.

Can’t beat a Barbour, it’s an essential in any proper chaps wardrobe.

Got a tweed blazer that’s got a great cut. Can wear that with a t shirt and jeans and still feel smart. Team it up with a shirt and pair of slacks and it’s good to rock any posh joint too <ok>

Am thinking of getting a Belstaff jacket this winter..

Not a thick warm one. Bought another Barbour last year for that. Maybe a waxed bomber jacket type. Not sure yet.
