They didn’t - so imho they are part of the problem

I know this angle has already been covered and I don’t want to get into an argument or debate about it as it just my opinion and everyone else is welcome to their take on it

it reminds me of Mary Whitehouse watching Tom and Jerry them complaining about it

I am not full of outrage
Faux or any other kind
I am simply of the feeling there were a number of things I do not like about this upcoming tournament so I won’t watch it
I not going to discuss team selections or results
I don’t expect people to stop just because I don’t watch
I won’t tell anybody they shouldn’t watch
I won’t say anyone is right or wrong
I have a tv remote and the ability to navigate my way around forums
That’s all I need to exert my opinion on the matter imho

anyway I can feel myself being sucked back in <laugh> so time for a sharp exit :)

Honestly that speech makes me more.opposed to Qatar, not less. If his only argument was that Europeans did bad things in history that seems to sound like "yeah, we know Qatar are evil and we gave it to them anyway... Cos... You know- Europe is evil too"
