    it was clearly a political statement and it is in FIFA regs regarding the attire you can wear on the pitch at an international match - don't forget the poppy symbol was considered a breach of those rules

    but those same human rights are often a bone of political contention and if "political" displays are allowed on the kit who decides which ones are acceptable .
