The announced cutting of the top rate of income tax from 45% to 40% for those earning over £150K per annum is, I'm sure, purely coincidental - and this has absolutely nothing to do with it...

He's not even trying to hide it, is he?
So someone with a £1m salary gets a tax break of £55k... that's working its way to twice the average salary I guess and way, way, WAY, more than mine. I only mention my comparison because I am a professional, not a tradesman / semi-skilled / unskilled workers on a better salary than a heck of a lot of people and even I can see the injustice of what he's done. It's a disgrace.

From what we have seen before of Irans attitude to schoolgirls I hope is is only whippings and not executions

Remember the 15 yr old schoolgirl who was raped by her uncle and was publicly hung from a crane for her "crime"

They do seem to have strange morals - I guess that sort of thing makes it easy to understand why so many object to the concept of multiculturalism.

I like the fact that we are multicultural and try to embrace all religions but its the extremist sections of religions that are the problem
