The sooner that Musk and his billionaire mates Branson, Bezos and Milner all sod off into space the better as far as I'm concerned. I'm not sure what the attraction for doing that is for them - but it would be pleasing to think that every UFO that has ever visited this planet has been manned by alien billionaires all seeking to escape the hell of their own planets. Meet Benjamin, the last known Thylacine - aka Tasmanian Tiger - who died on this day in 1936, just 59 days after the species had been declared critically endangered.

Almost unbelievably, he died of neglect and malnutrition in Beaumaris Zoo, Hobart.
