I'll be happy when my lads get dropped off tomorrow and then I give them back in the evening and wake up alone Xmas day whilst my lads are in another house experiencing an Xmas day without me and they'll be with their mam and stepdad.

Its mentally hard to take for me to take I'm sorry
We’re all here for you mate. All Sunderland, aren’t we? Take care Tees.

Just remember that your lads know that you're they're dad. No matter where they are or who they're with they know who you are and they love you

Well that's my lads gone now and I have the pleasure of picking which out of 4 walls to stare at for the next few hours till I call it a night.
You never know what's round the corner, 8 months ago I was getting engaged and now this.
I wont ever take life for granted ever ever again. Roll on Boxing day so I can get my lads back.

When I had christmas without my two eldest daughters, I just focused on how much fun we would have when I got to see them, not the greatest advice ever but it helped me those years ago

I started it by moving my lass in the house I've bought, we got engaged and then 3 months later we are living our best lives in Greece, December were done and my lads now have had a head feck of a situation wondering why their dad is back to square 1.

Please someone or anyone make me feel abit better than I do now because personally I am really struggling to comprehend it all.

Think to the saying ' there is always someone worse off than you ' well just consider the poor soul that has no one worse off than him.

Hiya Teessidemackem

hope you’re having a good day. Who knows what’s around the corner! Onwards and upwards eh? Take care and Keep the Faith

Hi Tees.

No one can really understand how you're feeling, some lovely advice has been given by good lads on here. If someone could give anyone the magic fix of how to keep their chin up, and it work, they'd be millionaires over night. Truth is mate, you have so much going for you but at the minute, you're natural want to see your boys is well..... natural. So not seeing your lads (most important part of your life) is naturally overshadowing all the other good stuff you have in your life and that's..... natural. You can't fight nature mate, so it's natural you feel the way you do. 8 months ago is a speck in time ago, so I'm not surprised you feel like "WTF!"? Christmases always highlight other events. But all I'll say is this, you'll get there mate. your boys need their Dad as much as you need them, it's unconditional... it's natural.

Merry Christmas mate.

Hi Tees, belated best wishes.

Life is a journey of ups and downs, good times, bad times. With a little determination you can make small steps towards a brighter future.

One thing you should take from Not606 is the strength of the poster well wishing you to pull through this awful downside right now.
