At which particular moment at the end, at the beginning or after how many games?

If you mean at the end of the season I would suspect 6th with a Cup in the locker as well.
 
Most people think 10th or higher is the sort of level saints should be targeting as a second season which is a good bet for most sides in their second season. But Cortese demands much more than the expected - Nigel was achieving that and look what happened to him! So on that basis I think anything less than 6th will be a disappointment. A successful season would be qualifying for Europe.

Yep, I agree with that, overall. It's not so much about what we expect or what the pundits expect. It's what Cortese expects that is the real arbiter, and he expects a great deal. I don't think for a moment that top 10 is anywhere near good enough for him. He'll expect some real inroads towards the sharp end and then the season after this one coming... well watch out, is all I can say.
 
Just miss out on the top half, so 11th. If we want to play in the Europa League then we'll need to take the League Cup seriously, which would give us a good chance as not many decent teams do take it seriously!
 
You'll rarely catch me making predictions and definitely not at this time of year, long way to go and much will change before the season starts. But I hope we'll crack on and be pushing for 8th and above.
 
Around 10th on 50ish points, a positive goal differential and at least a quarterfinals appearance in one of the cups.
