Not much of a TV person and hardly ever have it on except for sport, but I did enjoy The Sopranos.

If you liked the Sopranos then I cannot recommend The Wire highly enough...I know people always say 'the best program ever' but I genuinely think it'd be ranked in the top10 if there was ever a poll made! The couple take a while to get into, but once you get over the hump they're insanely addictive!

Great film! It's tough to pick a favourite single one really; going to cheat and throw in 5: Vertigo, Taxi Driver, Ladri di Biciclette (great old italian realist film), The Maltese Falcon, Requiem for a Dream.

Oooff, you like you're 'uncomfortable' films then...

Honestly I still can't get into Taxi Driver, I've seen it twice and just don't like it! I know its a classic and understand why, but its not something I'd reach for again and again!

Was it just me or did you find the last half hour or so of Vertigo hilarious?
Taxi Driver is class, but I think Requiem for a Dream is a bit over rated. Also I find it's one of those films that people (I'm not saying you) say they love to seem cool and bohemian and that irritates me somewhat.

I absolutely love The Departed!

Based on a Jap/Korean film I think which I've been told is better, but I personally think its class as it is...Aside from Titanic, I don't think DeCaprio's done a bad film and any film with the line "Maybe yes, maybe no, maybe go **** yourself" is a winner in my book!

Aye, cracking film. Anything about revenge gets me interested. I love anything like that. Denzel is mostly brilliant, although the remake of 'The Taking of Pelham 123' was ****e.

Some films just shouldn't ever be remade. The remakes often fall flat and show a lack of class and direction.

Infernal Affairs is the original Chinese film, it's definitely worth a watch. It's also like an hour shorter than The Departed so it's a pretty comfortable watch.

Requiem for a Dream is ment to be brilliant. Was checking people's reviews of it and they were saying it's very powerful and also disturbing.

The original was fantastic, the story made sense and that ending was pretty good. I don't understand why they remake films and then change the plot.

Too squeeze as much money as possible out of it...i.e the A-team.... Some film companies are just a discrace!!

I watched half of it after being told it was terrifying and turned it off in disgust - I thought it was utter ****! (apologise in advance if its your favorite film)

It's a film you have to get into I reckon, but no it's nowhere near my favourite film haha
