Has anyone seen that advert for Bombardier ale with Rik Mayall? It really makes me want a pint of it so much for some reason.

That rainymood is brilliant. Love the sound of rain. I often hear the rain and decide to go out for a walk in it. Much prefer it to walking in sunshine. And I prefer the winter to the summer. Does that make me weird?

Nothing beats a good walk in the rain! Really is quite refreshing, and i prefer the Autumn... football season starts again and it's normally nice and cool.

Was on the telly just this second, strange...
Good advert though. Put on quite a bit of weight has Rik.

I find an alcoholic drink or 2... or 6 helps me sleep in the evening! Other than that I may try some of those techniques... thank you good sir!

Aah ... I know what you mean about the booze. Thing is though it can send you to sleep but it only sends you into a shallow sleep which you will usually wake up from an hour or so later. Then due to de-hydration you struggle to get back to sleep or never actually get into a deep (REM) sleep which is what you need to feel properly refreshed. Unless you get totally trolleyed of course in which case you pass out for a full night ... but still wake up feeling crap.

They should have called it Lord Flashheart because that is totally the character he does in that advert :) Does make you want a pint of it though.

Anybody tried it? Is it any good?

Aye, always reminds me of Blackadder!

It's quite good. Not a huge ale drinker myself if I'm honest, but I'd happily drink one!

Very true. He plays that character so well so I don't blame them.

I ain't tried it yet, but it's definitely in the pipeline.

Yeah can't beat the seasons. My bro used to live in Singapore and it was 42 degrees every day and the sun always set at 8pm (give or take a few degrees and half an hour or so). He loved it but I hated it when I used to visit. You don't appreciate good weather unless you experience bad and too much hot weather gets boring very quickly.

Cant believe we are having Kopparberg muck discussed in a gentlemans club.

Jameson 12 yr old, 1 cube of ice, for me

Pah! Jameson! That's like slagging someone off for owning a Toyota, despite only owning a Porsche Boxter yourself! :P

bit partial to redheads myself

Tyneside Blonde is a nice drop as well

Motion to pass redheads as the patron saints of the MR T club? (I love both redheads & gingers; I've found them to be proper dirty in the bedroom!)
