I don’t think it had any impact on our playersThe argument that the tennis ball or any other protest hampers the team just makes such little sense. If it affects the players it'd affect both sets. Or are we saying ours are just soft and the opposition are able to cope? In fact, looking at the footage on Twitter, the forest keeper looks quite scared as he walks backwards away from the stand, like he's expecting them to throw something dangerous.

I wasn't talking about the entire stadium all at once, just those who usually sing. Apart from the protest chants which were nice and clear, there wasn't much else.
He might have looked scared, they scored soon after, he had very little to do. IT OBVIOUSLY DID EFFECT THE GAME.The argument that the tennis ball or any other protest hampers the team just makes such little sense. If it affects the players it'd affect both sets. Google translator wreckons your post makes NO sense.

We should sing "we're getting muted by the Tigers"
It's better than Mauled by the Tigers. We did it again against Birmingham. Somebody said afterward that it's done ironically. Are these people aware that opposition fans don't know this/can't tell this and take it at face value, as the embarrassing ****pile that it is?
It wouldn't be irony if they understood why we sing it.
It's not the song, it's the limp wristed hand actions that are lame.
If we didn't do the limp wristed hand actions it wouldn't be ironic.
But they aren't needed at all. There's nothing wrong with the chant, but we can't explain to the away fans that the hand thing is ironic can we? People just think we're a set of embarrassing ****ers.
Nearly every set of away fans has sung that at us. Is there a chant for "there's nothing to sing about, we're ****ing awful?" Because I feel they need a little context.
"We're playing like ****ers, that's why we don't sing."
"Our owners have killed us, that's why we don't sing."

The fact that they don't get the irony just makes it funnier.
Ironyist...I’m not sure it does. I shall not be taking up the gestures. Consider me unironic.
