Well, just 4 weeks and 5 days to go now.I've been dying to post this, but didn't want to jinx it. Stupid I know, but it's just the way I felt about it.
I'm gonna be a Grandad!
My daughter was pregnant about 3 years ago and I posted about it on here, she was only about 6 weeks at the time, but she miscarried not long after...hence the jinxing it comment.
Well, she's been for her 12 week scan today, and turns out she's 13 weeks, so baby due 12th May. I'm made up for the pair of them, he's a good lad, and was quite emotional when they come out the hospital today.
I'm over the moon (have been for weeks), can't describe the feeling tbh, it's just the tonic me and the Mrs needed.
Grandma and Grandad, even saying it brings bloody tears to my eyes.

Can't describe how excited I am, and how proud I am of my daughter and her boyfriend, well her fiance, he got down on one knee on Christmas and proposed.

And you just know there's another mother further up the street making sure none of the kids pass her.Not too many fatties, kids with mental health issues, no signs of bullying, no designer gear, no litter, no gender confusion, no hoodies on stolen bikes ...
... and 'Mam' watching on like Neighbourhood Watch but without the stickers

Great photo that.

..... no vandalism or abuse then defended by the adults who give the '' there's nothing for them to do these days'' excuse
